CHAPLAIN DAN RODRIGUEZ BIOGRAPHY

My name is Daniel Rodriguez. I am an ordained minister and I serve as Chaplain for Calvary Jail Ministries.

Born and raised in the city of New York until the age of 9 when my parents decided to move to their native island of Puerto Rico, I Grew up and was educated on the island. Graduated in a Catholic high school called Saint Vincent Paul, went on to college and achieved an associate degree in X-ray technology from the University of Puerto Rico at their medical science campus.

(However, during these years I found out that this was not my vocation!)

Although I was raised in a Catholic home, a friend who was a Christian shared with me the gospel of Jesus Christ when I was 20 years old. I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and was baptized at 1st Baptist Church of Levittown, Puerto Rico.

I am married to my beautiful wife Iris X. Rodriguez, father of four children and grandfather of two.

Living on the mainland of the U.S.A. since 1991 I began to serve our Lord Jesus Christ in music ministry, teaching and preaching, and achieved theological studies through the Christian and Missionary Alliance.  ( I found my true calling! )

Called by our Lord to ministry I served as head pastor in Carol City, Florida from 1998 until 2007 when I moved to Winston Salem, North Carolina.

As hobbies I am a car guy, and I love motorcycles too! Occasionally you can find me and my family at car shows, family outings and long road trips!

Today I am very blessed to serve our Lord as Pastor and Chaplain.

My passion is to win souls for the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ wherever and whenever possible. Meeting, greeting and sharing with churches and pastors of other Christian denominations is truly a joy in my heart.

Loving and serving our Lord Jesus! The King is coming!
